Out, Out Damn PICC and Thumbelina

It's me.

Will you hug me and pat me first?  I had a long day, and a really hard day at chemo, securing my title as official Queen of Da Glitches.

I have lots to tell you.

Can I tell you tomorrow?

I'll give you some clues.

My PICC would not work.  Exit PICC stage right.

Enter left arm stage left.  My left arm veins have been poked and stabbed and bled for months because my right arm is off limits due to Ports and PICCs.  The left arm veins were never very good to begin with and now are shot to hell.

Today I received chemo in a tiny tiny vein where my thumb connects to my left hand.

And then

I was on my way to passing out in the chemo chair, and three compassionate love me angel nurses worked their magic to get me back.

My PICC is out.

I was able to finish today's chemo but it was touch and go and took over three hours instead of just over one.

One more to go.

One more of five months of chemo to go.

Just get me there.

Talk to you tomorrow, ok?

At midnight, I gotta date with the vampires and the werewolves and my dark side and sometimes the Marquis de Sade, who seek me when I am on chemo crack, and stay till they grow tired of tormenting me.  Then God arrives and gives me peace and I rest.

See you when the sun sets again tomorrow.
