Luminary Ceremony - Vallejo Relay for Life, 8/6/11

I have so much to tell you about this year's Relay, what an amazing event, and what a magical night.  I haven't really come down from it yet, but when I do, I will write and tell you all about it.

In the meantime, here is the video of my speech at the Luminary Ceremony.  Thank you to Husband for shooting the video, and son Robin for downloading it to Youtube for Mommy.

Until there's a cure.

Amen.

Amazing Deb. You made me laugh and made me cry. You are the perfect spokes person always conveying from the heart. Love and hugs to you.

I am so thrilled you reached out to me. When you were telling your story, it was MY story also. I was amazed. Looking forward to more conversations and following your blog. Sincerely, Christine

Loved being there in person to hear you speak. Boyfriend was glad to meet you. He finally met someone with a higher pitched voice than me. You had the older gentleman standing next to me cracking up. I heard him say that you should be a writer. Didn't want to try & explain the whole blog thing. A patient came in today and was telling me that after her surgery her grandson who attended Nat'l Cancer Survivor Day asked if Flopsy & Mopsy were gone. Thought you'd get a kick out of hearing that. She said I guess he was paying attention. Your words REALLY do touch & resonate with people. Luv ya & thanks again for all you do!

You are absolutely amazing. Thank you for including me on your luminaria and for inspiring me as I spend my summer in Cancer Camp. A few short months and I'll have treatment behind me. Michelle N from NOS.
